Next Thursday, we’re having the second edition in our series of e-Tutoring “Open Houses” with another beginner Spanish session with Enrique. The Open Houses are intended to give anyone who is curious about how e-Tutoring works the chance to join a real, live session for free. This session will take place on Thursday, March 26th at 8:20 p.m. EST and will cover Essential Lessons 3-5 of the Living Language Spanish course.
WHO CAN JOIN?
Anyone can join this Open House session simply by clicking on the link given in the instructions below. Participants will be able to see and hear our e-Tutor Enrique and a few students go through a full e-Tutoring session on Essential Lessons 3 through 5 of our Spanish course.
WHAT WILL IT BE LIKE?
Here are some important things to know if you’re interested in joining in:
- Those attending the Open House will not share their audio or video. Only 3 students will participate in the session while others listen and watch.
- The session will last 30 minutes, from 8:20 p.m. to 8:50 p.m. on Thursday, March 26th Eastern Time.
- If you have the Living Language Complete Edition or Online course, you can review the materials to be covered in the session ahead of time (Essential Lessons 3-5), and if you don’t, you can get a sense for what will be covered by looking at our Language Lab for those lessons, linked below:

- The session will be delivered via GoToMeeting by Citrix, the video-conferencing software used for all of our e-Tutoring sessions. You’ll need a fast internet connection and the ability to hear audio on your computer.
HOW DO I JOIN?
Here are step-by-step instructions on how to join:
1. Click on the link below at the time of the session (i.e. not until 8:20 p.m. on Thursday, March 26th!)

2. The link will take you to a web page on the GTM site that downloads a small app onto your computer. It should run automatically, but if prompted click on “Run” or “Allow” to let the file run. Once GTM is installed, it will launch the session automatically.
3. When you join the session, your audio will be muted, so you won’t be heard, and you will not share your video, so you won’t be seen as well. However, you will be able to see and hear Enrique and his students.
4. Sit back and enjoy observing a full session in action. And feel free to take notes!
