Hi everyone! I have been working really hard tutti i giorni (everyday) to cram as much as I can in before my trip! I’m leaving in about eight weeks and hope to remember all of the wonderful things I’m learning.
Right now I have been studying everyday life, which has been teaching me many important phrases and vocabulary terms. I am looking forward to learning how to interact more with people on the streets so that I will be prepared when asking for directions and other questions.
I have been working especially hard on my pronunciation so that I sound okay once I get there; pronouncing words correctly is just as hard as learning them!
Lately I have been playing a lot of games. The games are great for jogging my memory on the vocabulary. I have been focusing on words in il ristorante (the restaurant). One of the main things I’m looking forward to in Italy is the food, so I have to study up!
The dialogue activities continue to be one of my favorite tools because it allows me to fit all of my vocabulary and grammar into a fluid conversation.
