Buon capodanno (happy new year) everyone!
I am flying through disc one and am already on lesson six! In this lesson I have been learning “around town” phrases, which is fun because I live in a small town and can practice a lot!
When traveling, it is important to know how to ask for directions and recall common phrases when talking to locals. I can already tell that I will need to use phrases such as dov’ è la stazione (where is the train station?) on a daily basis on my trip this spring, so I have been paying extra attention to them.
I have been learning other phrases from a collection of Italian books I picked up from my local bookshop to expand my vocabulary.
