As referenced last week, Italy has a new government headed by Prime Minster Mario Monti. It’s off to a rough start with an embarrassing mistake this week.
Government officials wanted to recruit Professor Franco Braga, to be its vice-minister for agriculture, however it contacted another professor, via email, Francesco Braga a business professor in Canada. Francesco Braga received an email that told him to report ASAP to Rome, at the Ministry of Agriculture.
Needless to say that Francesco’s face was all over: papers, websites, etc. He got congratulated by many people and groups. It turned out that the Government intention wanted to name Franco Braga (NOT Francesco Braga), an Italian professor, also expert in agriculture…
