To celebrate the launch of Living Language Platinum we hosted a food truck in Union Square today. Hundreds lined up for tasty free treats from French, Spanish, Italian, and German cuisines. The only catch? Visitors had to “say it right to get a bite!” Correct (or close enough) pronunciation was key to receiving the delicious pretzels, sorbet, pastries, and more.
Our friends at Jetsetter had fun speaking German at the truck, and NY Street Food and Grub Street helped spread the word!
In addition to free eats, we gave mini-language lessons to those in line and offered a raffle for gift certificates to some of the city’s hottest French, German, Italian, and Latin American eateries and drinking holes.
