How can you write Strawberry and Raspberry

edited October 2013 in Japanese
Hi :) I was wondering if  いちご ichigo/strawberry could be spelled using katakana like I saw ラズベリー (razuberii) and vice versa. ありがとうございます

'Strawberry' in katakana is spelled ストロベリー sutoroberii

'Raspberry' translates 木苺 (kiichigo) in Japanese, but I think nowadays people say ラズベリー more often than 木苺

Here are some more berries! ブルーベリー buruuberii (bluberry), ブラックベリー burakkuberii (blackberry. There are no Japanese names for them. We just use katakana.

    Thanks for the fun question!
