Arabic iPhone and iPad apps are here!
  • Christopher January 4
The Arabic iPhone and iPad apps are now available in iTunes. We'll put up a direct link, but if you search for 'Living Language Arabic' you'll find it.

Quick note: It's part of a "shell" app, meaning that you'll eventually be able to unlock all of our languages from it. So far, just Italian and Arabic are in it. But you can unlock the full content for only the language(s) you're interested in.

So- I purchased the Arabic Platinum. Is there a way I can get the complete Arabic app without paying another $9.99?
  • Christopher January 27
Yes, if you purchased the Platinum edition, the app is free. You can check out the directions on the FAQ page (mobile apps), but the long and the short of it is:
-download the free version of the app (search for Living Language iOS in iTunes)
-click on any of the locked/grayed out content
-use your Platinum credentials (your LL account log in email and password) to unlock the rest of the app.
If you have any questions about this, please let us know.

This is a really cool app. I love it.

Thanks for letting us know! I've got it on my iPad and iPhone as well. I love that iOS has a great Arabic keyboard.

Are there plans for a Droid app?
  • Christopher March 30
Hi, Chrys. We have Droid apps for several of our languages, but we're most likely not going to release one for Arabic. That's not 100% decided (it depends on all sorts of development issues we're finding with Android and the very wide range of Android devices), but it's more likely than not, I'm sorry to say.
  • Chrys March 30
Oh, that's too bad. :( It would have been helpful to me.

I'm sorry! I'll post something if that changes.
