E-Tutoring trouble?

    Guten Tag.  I have an e-Tutoring session today.  But all I get is a window that says "successfully connected" and "waiting for organizer".  Did anyone else have this issue?  My session is supposed to start at 10:30 EDT on 10/21/2012.  My meeting ID is 563-528-974.

    Sorry about that, Grace. I'm not sure what the problem was. Let me double check with scheduling and we'll see what happened.

    Danke.  Just want to say that this is the first time something like this happened to me.  I had no problem with my previous sessions.

    Hi again, Grace. I checked in with the tutor, and she was logged on and got a message that no one else was in the meeting. She sent me the ID, and it's the same as yours. (563528974). 

    I'm not entirely sure what happened, but I'll ask our vendor if they have any possible explanation. Please re-enroll in the meantime, and I'm glad you haven't had problems before at least!

    Hi there.  I think I am having the same issue as Grace_R with my session right now.  It is suppose to start at 13:30 EDT on 3/29/2013.  My Meeting ID: 675-523-886.  Please advice, thanks! 
  • Sorry about that. Could you forward your meeting confirmation email (if you still have it) to [email protected]? I'll forward it on to GoToMeeting and ask them what happened.

    I had a similar problem the other evening while training one of the new Portuguese tutors. We both were logged in to the same meeting, but we kept getting a "waiting for organizer" or "no participants" message.

    Please let us know when you re-enroll as well, so we can try to jump on and make sure everything is working. Thanks.

    Vielen Dank für Ihre Hilfe!  I just forwarded the email.  This was my first time encountering this issue.  I've had two other e-tutoring sessions before without any problems.  I even tried to call-in with my phone but I was the only caller at the meeting.  



  • We're still trying to figure out what's happening with GoToMeeting. This doesn't happen frequently, but every once in a while it does. We honestly don't understand it yet, but we're doing our best to work with GTM to figure it out. Thankfully, most students never have any problems.

  • I had the same problem also about two weeks ago, but today I had no problem logging into Peter's 3:30 session on German Lessons3 to 5.  I don't know if Peter could see me, but I could see him and we had no problem communicating verbally.
