Business Courses

I notice that you have business courses for Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, and Spanish. DO you have any other business courses planned? Will they come out soon? I am interested in Italian and French business courses. Also, do you get a certificate once completed? Thanks you for your response.

The most recent addition to our business course line is Business Brazilian Portuguese, which came out yesterday. We do not have immediate plans for business French or Italian courses, but we will take your suggestion into consideration for planning future projects. With respect to certificates, we are working on adding certificates of completion to our regular online courses, but at the moment they are not available for any of our courses.

Thanks for your response. I plan to take your regular online classes for German and Portuguese in the near future (I have studied both in the past). I have a couple of questions:

1) I plan to finish the courses within 3 months (signing up for 3 months). Do you think that the certificates will be ready by the end of the year, when I finish? I took a business Spanish course from elsewhere, and they just have a generic certificate and place the person's name on it. It was emailed to me. As far as I am concerned, that is enough to show that I have completed the course.

2) If I finish the regular course in Portuguese, is that enough to take the business Portuguese course? If that is the case, is it also enough for the Chinese and Japanese business courses?

I am really glad that I found your site. I am a language fanatic, and have studied languages all my life. I only speak 5 (including English) on a regular basis, but I hope that I can expand my repertoire with your products. Thank you for your attention and kind response.

Thanks for your message. I think you're in the right place if you're a language fanatic. We are also language nerds and are happy to say our list of languages continues to expand. Next up is Hawaiian, Vietnamese and American Sign Language among others.

To answer your first question, while I can't guarantee that the certificates of completion will be ready by the time you finish your 3-month subscription, I can assure you that if they are not, you just need to email us at [email protected] (please refer to this forum post in your message) and we can issue you a certificate manually. Please be sure to email us after you've completed the course but before your course expires. That way we can verify your progress for the certificate.

As for your second question, yes, if you have finished the online course or Complete Edition in any of those languages, you will certainly be ready to take the Business Courses. You may even be ready after completing the first 2 levels (Essential and Intermediate.)
