How do I see what lessons I have completed.  Main scree shows that I am 45% complete with estentials.  But none of the stars on the screen that shows the 10 lessons are colored in.  Also how do i know what badges represent.  I see several colored in and several that are not. When i click on one that is not colored in it says card shark dont forget to complete this one but does not tell me where to go.  I am frustrated.  I think I have completed the first four lessons but cannot tell where I stopped when I log in.

    Hi,
Sorry for the frustrating situation. Yes, the stars that you earn are being tallied, but due to a bug, the color of the stars is not changing on the course page.  One work around is to look to the right of where you find the percentage complete to the number of stars completed.  If you see for example 3/10, you've completed Lessons 1-3.  So, in this case you've left off in Lesson 4.
As for the badges, the course gives hints, but not explicit instructions on how to earn badges, but I can of course give you that information. The card shark badge is earned by earning two gold medals from Memory Match games. If you have more questions about badges, post them here and I can answer them.
Thanks and again apologies for the frustration.
    Best,
    Erin

    Thanks for info on stars

But I still can not figure out how to tell which lessons I have completed. I do not see the 3/10 that you referred to. When I am on my courses page. Under Essential Japanese it says 49% complete. When I click on estential japanese it goes to the page with the stars on it. On this page I do not see anything that indicates how many lessons or which lessons have been completed. I was gone for a couple of weeks. My recollection was that I was working on lesson 6. But that does not seem to correlate with 49% complete unless software thinks I have only partially completed one of the previous lessons. Seems that software should be able to tell me which lessons I have completed.

    Your help would be appreciated.
