    1.你最好歇会儿吧。 
    nǐ zuì hǎo xiē huìer ba 
    You'd better take a rest.

    The particle "ba" is normally placed at the end of a suggestive sentence. 

    For example: "We'd better go" 
                 我们最好走吧。
                 wǒ men zuì hǎo zǒu ba

    "You'd better drink some water" 
    你最好喝些水吧。
    nǐ zuì hǎo hē xiē shuǐ ba

    2.你们想选什么,柚子还是香瓜?
    What do you choose, grapefruit or muskmelon?

    In Chinese, 还是(hái shì) is sometimes used in an interrogative sentence to ask someone to choose between two options. In reply, you can use 或者 (huò zhě)  to mean either is fine for you. 

    For example: "What do you drink, tea or coffee?"
                  你喝什么,茶还是咖啡?
                  nǐ hē shén  me , chá hái shì kā fēi ? 

     "Either tea or coffee is okay for me". 
     茶或者咖啡都可以。
    chá huò zhě kā fēi dōu kě yǐ

    New Year means 新年 xīn nián 
    Happy means 快乐 kuài lè 
    holiday means 节日 jié rì 
    Christmas means 圣诞节shèng dàn jié (Dec.25) 

    So you can say 新年快乐(xīn nián kuài lè) or 新年好 (xīn nián hǎo)or 节日快乐(jié rì kuài lè) to greet people have a happy New Year/holiday!
