    Hi,

    In the second site you give us, in the exceptions sections explain the issue with ASIGNATURAS/SUBJECTS:

    When the ASIGNATURA is the OBJECT of the verb you don´t need the article:

    Estudio ESPAÑOL

    When it is the SUBJECT, you need the article:

    EL ESPAÑOL es una lengua muy popular en NY.
