e-tutor

Does e-tutor work? I scheduled for today but when I go through the link it says waiting for organizer. Has anybody had such problems?

I had my first Chinese session a few weeks ago and didn't have a problem. The tutor was really good (and patient!) I'm looking forward to my next.

Please make the website auto adjust to the user's time zone when scheduling out a e-tutoring session. I missed a session because I overlooked the time zone. I didn't realize it till 3 hours after the session time. Just store the users time zone and offset the time based on that.

Thanks for the suggestion, RanmaKei. We'll look into that. But yes, please note that the eTutor sessions are scheduled in Eastern Time.

And please reschedule your session. You can schedule as many as you'd like, so you're not penalized in any way for having missed this one.

Please do let us know if you ever have trouble logging into a session. We can work with our partner who provides the online conferencing tool if there are issues, so it's very helpful for us to know whenever a customer has a log-in problem. Thank you!

I missed my e-tutor session because I did not realize the time was AM and not PM. Now I am not able to schedule another session. I get a message that states I have too many sessions scheduled, when in fact, I do not have any scheduled. Please help.

Just some minutes ago, I had my first e-tutor session. It was really great.The way the tutor (Serve) make you produce the language is outstanding. I liked it. Besides he corrected every mistake that my group session did. I had an audio problem at the beginning, but I fixed it even though I lost the video signal. I think I have to get use to the meeting program. This language method is worthy. Thank you Serve and Living language.

I just scheduled my 3rd lesson after missing the first 2. Just realized EDT was eastern time and 3 hours before the time in California. Maybe they can have the confirmation page say 9:00am EDT and 6:00am PST for those who are not geniuses like me : )

Thanks for the feedback. Don't worry, you're not the first person to have this problem. We'll see if we can make this a bit clearer on our site. In the meantime, for anyone who misses a session for this reason in the future, please email us at [email protected] to let us know. We do keep track of missed sessions and after 3 "no-shows" your account could be suspended, so just give us a heads up.
