Mire quien habla

Today I heard the expression "Mire quien habla" (meaning "Look who is talking") when my family was chatting and I meant to ask them but it slipped my mind at the time... is this an expression used commonly outside of the United States or is it a bit of Spanglish? In other words, is it a literal translation of an English expression or is something people actually say in Spanish speaking countries?
