Keyboard

I was wondering if I was to purchase a keyboard for Japanese, what brand or type of keyboard or device I should buy and how much it would possibly cost? I would like some advice on this please to get a good device that helps write and translate(in some way) Japanese.

You don't need to buy a special Japanese keyboard. I am a professional Japanese writer and educator but I use a regular American PC and a keyboard!

All you need to do is adding Japanese as an input language on your OS.
