Don't forget to make use of our eTutoring. It's a great way to practice the Spanish that you've learned, and it's a lot of fun. Don't be shy, and don't worry if you feel that you're not totally prepared. That's what practice is for!Enjoy!

I've now gone to two e-Tutoring sessions, the orientation and lesson 1-3, and they were both very good. The instructors seems to have outlines but are not scripted. It's not immersion, either, so you can ask questions in your native language (English for me) or have things explained in your native language.

That's great, thanks for sharing that. The tutors do have outlines of the material to cover, the vocabulary and grammar that's been introduced in the relevant lessons. But they also improvise, and of course each session varies depending on who's in it.We don't have a written-in-stone law about avoiding English. The goal is to use none, but obviously if avoiding English at all costs becomes frustrating or discouraging for a student, that sort of defeats the whole purpose! As you advance and become more comfortable with Spanish, you'll find that you'll need less and less English, and eventually none.Whenever you're ready, it's a good idea to challenge yourself to stick to Spanish during the sessions. If you have a question, you can always ask at the end, or post it on this message board.
