¡Hola Mahima!  ¡Muy bien! Todas tus respuestas son correctas.

Let's try two more sentence, now using plural

    - We like Spanish
    - You (all) like Spanish
    - We like Italian
    - They like Italian

NOTE: As a general rule we will use the definite article (el) in front of the name of a language (español).
    - Me gusta el español
    - Te gusta el español
    - Me gusta el italiano

However there are some exceptions to this rule. We will not use the article el in front of español in the following cases:

    - When "español" immediately follows en.
Example: hay muchos acentos en español - there are a lot of accents marks in Spanish

    - When "español" immediately follows a verb that is often used of languages (saber, aprender, hablar, entender, escribir or estudiar).
Examples: Yo aprendo español, yo hablo español, yo entiendo español.

    Further...
Has the word limit for posts been revised? What is the word ceiling per post?
It is a bit of a dampener to keep cutting one's train of thought, to accommodate within the "box".
Let me know if there is a way around.

    Thanks
    Mahima
  • On the message board? Not to my knowledge! What's happening, are you hitting a limit? I seem to be able to keep hitting ENTER and the box size keeps getting bigger and bigger.
  • Anna March 1
    - Nos gusta el español.
    Os gusta el español
    Nos gusta el italiano
    - Les gusta el italiano (here the pronoun used is Les)

Very good! Keep up the good work!

Sometimes when I write a post I reach the maximum character permitted and I have to split it in two or three parts. Not sure what the max is.

    Thanks Anna !

    Hi Chris,

Just as Anna mentioned, sometimes I'm able to write without any word ceiling, whereas on certain occasions, the page prompts a character limitation.
  • Anna March 13
I think that there is a characters limit per message and if you add spaces or blanks (like when you copy paste homework I posted on my previous message) it is very likely that you will exceed that limit and you receive that message.

If you have that problem just post your message splitted in more than one post and I will review them all.

    Thanks!
