Questions for Your eTutor?
  • Christopher December 2012
During an eTutor session, lots of questions come up. That's good! We like questions, and you shouldn't feel embarrassed to ask them. Our eTutors are more than happy to answer questions, and we've set up a few ways to do that.

First, you should take advantage of the time at the end of the session to ask for any further explanation that you may want. There's usually a few minutes at the end of the session for a wrap-up, so it's the perfect time to bring up any questions. (If you can ask in your new language, that's great, but if you can't do that, don't worry.)

Second, you should take advantage of this message board! If you have a question, chances are that lots of other students have the same question. So, by posting a question here, you're not only helping yourself, but also the whole Living Language community. Just make sure you post it under the language you're learning (Category), and your eTutor will answer it within a day or so.

Third, if you're shy about asking the question publicly, you can always email it to us at [email protected]. (But, please try not to be shy! It's very unlikely that you're the only one with the question.) If we get questions, we'll post them to the message board anonymously, and the tutor will answer them. Just come back and check out the forum to see your question.

Please don't ask the tutors for their email addresses. We try to give you as much contact with them as possible, and we're happy to mediate, but you know how things can be on the internet.

Thanks for cooperating, and for participating in the language forums!
