eTutoring question
  • Roni July 2012
I have a question about eTutoring, which I haven't taken yet but I want to start soon. If I can't find a session of my level that's held at convenient time, can I sign up for a session from some other levels and ask the tutor to teach me the materials of my level?

Thanks for your question, and I'm happy to hear that you're interested in taking advantage of our eTutoring. Taking an eTutor lesson is a great way to put what you've learned into practice. And hey, it comes free with your Platinum Japanese package, so do take advantage of it!

We kindly ask you to sign up for a session of the specific level you are at. There are two major reasons for this: 1) there might be other students signing up for the same session; 2) your instructor has to get the specific materials (such as pictures) ready for each lesson.

If you cannot find a lesson you can sign up for, please email [email protected] for assistance. Our friendly staff might be able to schedule an extra session that's convenient for you.

Just one additional comment - it is of course fine to take a lesson that you've already completed for a reviewing purpose. It's actually a very good way to really master the material. What we ask you not to do is to ask your instructor to teach materials which are not of the level you signed up for. Hope this is clear!
