    I am just starting the program and am currently finished with Lessons 1 and 2!! I was wondering if someone could give me some simple homework to help me use and retain the information that I have been learning so far!! Thank you so much!!

    Hi, Amanda. The best thing to do is of course sign up for your first eTutor session, which covers Essential lessons 1 and 2. Other things to consider:
    -Write very brief dialogues where people introduce themselves, modeled on the main dialogue in Lesson 1 (the one with Felipe and Josefina.)
    -Write a few sentences about your family using the vocabulary for people and family terms in Lesson 2.
    -Draw a family tree of a made-up family, and then describe the relationships between people.
    -Go through the flashcards for each of the word builders several times to make sure you retain the vocab.

    This is going to sound silly, but I kept a sort of log of where my family members were one evening. (Or what they were doing, if I could try out some verbs.) Por ejemplo:
    A las seiz y media, mi esposa esta con mi hija en la sala. Mi hija no esta feliz.
    A las siete, toda la familia esta en el comedor. Yo estoy muy feliz. 
    A las ocho, nuestra hija esta en su cama, pero nuestro hijo esta en la sala con nosotros.
    Etc.
    Silly and simply, but I think it helped.
