If you intend to travel within France, and perhaps between London & Paris, I strongly recommend to consider using the train (TGV & Eurostar).Unless you want to explore the countryside and little villages, taking the train is an affordable, and extremely practical way to travel. It is even better than the plane since the boarding takes less than 30 minutes and the trains stop right in the center of towns.Check this website for more info.
